Disneyland Park is packed with rides sporting different themes such as tommorrow land which as the name suggests keeps well up to date with technology to create new rides. Autopia was one of the parks first attractions which now takes you on a journey into a parallel universe. For fans of star wars George Lucas helped design the Star Tours section and has an excellent flight simulator. Keeping in the same vein Space Mountain has a massive roller coaster in darkness with effects such as meteoric flashes which make it unsuitable for young children but great fun for adults. On the main street you can find historic buildings and Disney characters with whom you can photograph. These characters also come to life in Toontown where in places such as Mickeys house and Minnies cottage the three-dimensional characters come to life. One of the favourite cartoon type attractions is Roger rabbits Car Toon Spin which spins you throw a cartoon land. More rollercoaster rides can be found under the guise of Big Mountain Thunder Railroad, in which you are on a runaway train plummeting down the mountainside with effects such as boulders and landslides. Matterhorn Bobsleds brings the icy theme to the roller coater ride with a replica of a Swiss mountai9n peak. With icy caverns and slippery mountain slopes all included. |
